Born and raised in Rhode Island, Micholas has spent his career at the intersection of finance, public policy, and community leadership. He understands firsthand the challenges facing Rhode Island families — from rising costs to underfunded public services — and has dedicated himself to finding real, lasting solutions.
With a background in financial management and public administration, Micholas brings the expertise and discipline needed to manage Rhode Island's state treasury with transparency and accountability. He believes that every tax dollar is a sacred trust — and that Rhode Islanders deserve a Treasurer who treats it that way.
